Dr. Sunil Gupta undertook his dream of pursuing Chartered Accountancy while being in a village near the district Ghaziabad. Being a part of the rural infrastructure and society, he understands the limitations of these parts which cause hindrance in the personal as well as professional development of an individual. He very well knows the role of these regions in the development of the nation and thus he endeavors to provide constructive and time bound assistance for the advancement of the natives of these regions. Ensuring all possible support to villages, Dr. Gupta is a life member of Gram VikasSamiti.
The Gram VikasSamiti is registered with the Registrar of Societies, Meerut and with the Commissioner of Income Tax, Ghaziabad (under Section 12A and 80G of the IT Act 1961). As a member of the Samiti, Dr. Gupta has extended his help in numerous welfare programmes. To eradicate the curse of illiteracy, the Samiti has arranged for free of cost education programmes in 24 villages (Dasna, Dadri and Pilkhuwa) located in and around the district, Ghaziabad. More than 2500 children are being benefited under this scheme.
Health of people remains the topmost priority. The Samiti provides effective healthcare assistance in the village, Farid Nagar. For this purpose, a dedicated hospital with essential facilities has been set up, which is served by numerous qualified doctors.
To assist the youth in matching steps with the upcoming technology, an ITI college is in its last stage of being set up. The construction is almost complete with the helping hands of Dr. Gupta and other respected members of the Samiti. Dr. Gupta is making every effort to ensure that the college begins providing professional education to the students from the academic year 2014-15.
